Our master’s in Nutrition and Integrated Health provides an evidence-based education to prepare the next generation of nutrition experts. Dietary and lifestyle factors are at the heart of prevention and treatment of major chronic diseases. Professionals like you are needed to provide nutrition and lifestyle knowledge to help people and communities maintain and reclaim their health.
Two Paths to Your Degree
Depending on your career goals and past educational experience, our master's of Nutrition and Integrated Health program has two tracks.
Master of Science
The stand-alone Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrated Health track is for those interested in continuing their education by obtaining a graduate degree in nutrition. This track is also ideal for registered dietitians (RD)/ registered dietitian nutritionists (RDN) who have a bachelor’s degree and want to obtain an advanced degree.
Combined RD/RDN & M.S.*
Stand out by obtaining a master's degree while adding the credential of registered dietitian (RD) or registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) in addition to your master's degree.

Not Sure About a Master's?
Earn 12 credits through our graduate certificate in nutrition to advance your education and learn how diet and lifestyle affect your health. You can see if a master's degree is right for you and get more flexibility while you work full time. Plus, the credits you earn now can be applied if you choose to complete a master's degree.

Our program is designed to nourish your career and your life. A state-of-the-art kitchen prioritizes instruction outside of the classroom. Credit for prior learning, in-person and online courses and full or part-time tracks make education flexible. Plus, you obtain a wide array of professional experiences through our supervised rotations with our community and clinical partnerships.

Accreditation
UW-Green Bay's Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrated Health has been granted Candidacy for Accreditation Status in Spring 2022 from the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND®) to open a new and innovative program to prepare Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs). This innovative program combines master's coursework with over 1,000 hours of supervised practicum (also known as supervised experiential learning) in professional settings, including community/public health, food service and clinical settings. The program grants a Master of Science degree and prepares students to sit for the RDN credentialing exam.

*The Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND®) released the Future Education Model Accreditation Standards for programs in nutrition and dietetics. These accreditation standards integrate didactic coursework with supervised experiential learning in a competency-based curriculum designed to prepare nutrition and dietetics practitioners for future practice.
